Quick, Easy Tropical Smoothie Recipe September 04 2014
New go to smoothie recipe for you!
1/2 cup pineapple
1 small banana
1 clementine
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk,
cinnamon to taste
handful of baby spinach
any additions you'd like, i.e., flax seeds, chia, etc.
The one in the photo was made without baby spinach because, well, it ran out. A couple weeks ago I spent a Sunday afternoon chopping/freezing tons of fruits & veggies into pint size mason jars. (I didn't freeze the spinach and some of the clementines as I add them fresh). In the mornings I dump everything into the blender, let it do it's thing, then use the same pint size jar to take the smoothie to work with me. The system has worked well because the prep & cleanup takes five minutes each morning and I rotate the recipes each day. I'll continue to share the other smoothie recipes I prepped as well. :)
Have a great day!
