Window ledge filled with plants in my New England based studio

My studio is an old industrial mill building and it has huge windows that let in lots of great plant light.

Production Day: hammering some Halo Necklaces in gold & silver. After the hammering is done to add some beautiful light reflective texture I drill and polish each one before assembly.

Mid Century Modern Chairs Bankers Chairs in Green Vinyl

If you've been following along for a while you might be rolling your eyes at my ridiculous vintage chair photos at this point. Here are two more. The seat on the chairs is a light sage-y green vinyl. The like the color but not the material. I'm looking to give these an oiling and then change out the fabric on the seats to a light gray or navy color.

Production work tiny petal pendants personalized initial pendants

Production Day: lots of pretty petal pendants personalized, drilled and now ready for a dee polish to bring out the shine.

Another version of my shellie. I think it still looks pretty like this at the current time. I am very guilty of overthinking my shelf arrangements.

The Dedication Company In The Studio April 20 2014

Morning light at the studio. Looking forward to cozying up this space. I think I have the general flow of the space worked out. I'm waiting for a couple of shelving units to arrive so I can get some things organized and put away in a workable way. Then I'll be focusing on cozying up this space with some prints and textiles, etc.

New Studio Space February 04 2014

A view from one of the windows of my new studio space. I've been casually looking for a space for the past year but was pretty specific about what I had in mind and what I needed.  My new studio is located in a historic mill district which has some other local businesses, photographers, artists and musicians who rent studio space as well as storage units.  My spot is a 300 square foot space that was formerly a rehearsal room for a death metal band.  That being said, it's getting a full makeover before I move in as the walls are currently a deep gray - almost black - and are quite beat up.  My dad has been at the space doing the work and I hope to move in by the end of March.

In The Studio September 12 2012

Photographer Colleen Dubois and model Kate helped out with a photoshoot for some designs. Photoshoots are always so much fun - both preparing for them and then executing them.  Lots of inspiration to be had and it is great to get out from behind my bench for the day and style my jewelry with these two fun gals.
